All units have a battery back-up system in the event of a power outage and the master Alarm Unit comes with a rechargeable battery. This home security system covers 1,100 square feet and it can detect an intruder’s body heat. The LaserShield is made pet friendly by snapping the Pet Shield into place. Each time you activate the LaserShield, it will tell you that it is being armed or disarmed. You have a 60-second exit delay when you are placing it in the armed position, and 20 seconds to disarm it when you re-enter.

If your LaserShield home security system has an abnormal problem, it will relay that to you. Should you have an emergency, the Master Alarm Unit contacts the Rapid Response Monitoring Service and 30 seconds later, they will call you. If you don’t answer, they send emergency help. By using the special PIN number, you can arm, disarm or activate the hidden microphone away from home. The monitoring service starts at under a hundred per month.
